Experience the Thrill of Field Hockey at Winchmore Hill & Enfield Hockey Club’s Club Day!
Winchmore Hill & Enfield Hockey Club is excited to announce its upcoming Club Day, a fantastic opportunity for hockey enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to come together and experience the thrill of field hockey. The event will take place on the 9th of September and will feature taster sessions for Men, Women, and Juniors, followed by a delightful BBQ gathering for the whole Winchmore Hill sports community.
The Club Day promises to be a perfect introduction to the exhilarating world of hockey. Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned player, everyone is welcome to join the fun and get a taste of this dynamic and competitive game. The sessions are designed to accommodate both beginners looking to try out the sport and experienced players eager to find a new fantastic club. The sessions will be based around a few getting back-to-hockey style drills followed by a fun game at the end.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- Junior Session: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Women’s Session: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
- Men’s Session: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Participants can enjoy the hockey taster sessions at absolutely no cost, making it a fantastic opportunity to discover the joys of field hockey and meet fellow enthusiasts in a friendly and supportive environment.
After the on-field excitement, the celebration continues with a BBQ gathering starting from 3:30 PM. This is a chance to mingle with members of the Winchmore Hill Sports Club, which encompasses a range of sports including tennis, cricket, and football. The BBQ event will take place at The Paulin Ground, 149 Firs Lane, London, N21 3ER.
While the hockey taster sessions are free, there will be a nominal fee of £5 for those interested in indulging in the delicious BBQ offerings. However, attending the club and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere comes at no cost. There is also a pay bar on site too. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow sports enthusiasts and share in the camaraderie of the sports community.
