Men’s First Team Match Report
Indian Gymkhana 5’s 2-3 WHE Men 1’s
Hockey was played. It was 1-0 WHE via Ollie from a short corner. 2-0 after Jack ran the length of the pitch, taking on two defenders and taking out keeper. Ollie yellow. Ben green. Ben yellow. IG then scored twice in quick succession to make it 2-2. Luke Green. Luke Yellow.
It finished going end to end, with Jack and Joe on a breakthrough, Jack into the D to pass to Joe to make it 3-2.

Men’s Second Team Match Report
WHE M2’s 6-1 PHC Chiswick 6’s
Chiswick came to take on the top of the league and undefeated Men’s 2’s this week with Wayne stepping in goal for this weeks game.
The opener came early on with James Thompson’s first senior goal for the club being in the right place at the back post for 1-0. Chiswick managed to pull one back with a quick counter for 1-1. Jonny finished off a nice passing move to make it 2-1. Lots of short corners almost converted until a ricocheted shot from a short corner *definitely came off of Calum’s stick* (it did, I’m writing this report). No really it did. For 3–1. Before Mike calmly smashed another short corner in from the top D to get into the half at 4-1.
A relatively not shouty team talk for once as we were playing well. Chiswick switched on and pushed players forward. But managed to keep Winch out for most of the second half. John P keeping the defence busy up top, considering he’s a goalkeeper by trade, did very well at CF. John S screaming at midfield for some reason and got us all to focus.
This led to a free hit just outside the D, slipped to Calum who took it into the D and smacked the best shot he has ever done in top bins for 5-1! (Via keepers pad, but top bins sounds better). Simon, Jake T and Dom dominating midfield with Tom P spraying balls all over the place. This made its way to young Arran who managed to dribble past players into the path of Jake S who gets Winchmore 6th and his fourth for the season. Overall a great game and solid win, keeping Winchmore 2’s top of the league and undefeated!
