“A bit of an unexplainable match today against Chiswick. It’s always a close game there and today was no different even though we lost 3-0, they hit the post 3 times and Putty got a unanimous decision for Man of the Match given how many saves she made!!
We worked really hard for each other especially in the first half and this lead to some great passages of play. We passed around the back well and we marked them out well when they had free hits in our 25. Orla was dogged in midfield covering ever changing players trying to take the ball down the middle. Alice had a great game at left wing making good runs and calling well. Sarah E-Q and Elle had a lot of lovely link ups to get the ball from our 16 down the line. All in all great performances and hard work across the pitch but a little lack of composure and a drop off of energy in the second half led to a defeat that felt avoidable.
