“Fresh from last week’s victory against Southgate and equipped with very bright fresh white socks (thanks Lisa) we started with a positive attitude.
As a team with a number of new faces we are still adjusting to each other and understanding our place on the pitch. Captain Kareen’ s whiteboard definitely helped put the opposition on edge.
We had the majority of the possession during the game with lots of well worked attacks on goal. There could have been more use of the width and running onto the ball, however the triangles were in evidence throughout.
They scored an easy goal early on but our heads did not drop. We pushed forward with some great attacking moves.
They had to fight for the suspect second goal which we are pretty sure didn’t go 5 metres before being hit! [player’s opinion; freedom of expression]
Other game highlights include Sarah ‘falling’ in the D and saving the day, she claims she went down intentionally 
Charlotte received a green card for one of the oppo falling over! Right afterwards Abbie was taken out by someone hooking her stick, yet no whistle!
There is lots for us to work on in the coming weeks, we have the core of a winning squad it just needs finessing.
Player of match goes to Lorna for running lots and frustrating the opps attacks on goal.
Moose of the match was closely fought, with Sarah coming out on top for reasons previously mentioned.
